Latin name Lavendula vera

A mild infusion can be drunk for headache, to soothe nerves, and as a sedative. Also used as a digestive aid, to relieve vomiting, and as a tonic for colds and flu. The oil can be applied to the temples to cure nervous headache, and can also be used externally as an antiseptic on sores, ulcers and abscesses.
