Latin name Armoracia rusticana
Traditional Usage Has a strong diuretic action and was traditionally used to treat kidney stones. Because of its high vitamin C content, it was also used to treat scurvy.
Uses Today it is mostly used as a poultice for chilblains and aching joints and muscles.
