Dill

Latin name Anethum graveolens
Uses Particularly good at relieving stomach discomfort, such as colic and indigestion. The seeds boiled in a tea will soothe away insomnia and hiccups. The seeds are used to make dill water, a soporific and carminative syrup used to treat colic in babies. To make dill water: Crush 25 grams dill seed, and soak in 500 ml hot water for 3 - 4 hours. Strain, sweeten with 1 tablespoon honey. Give a small amount to be sipped.
