Why Paganism?

Why Paganism?

Why worship ancient deities
in this modern technological age?

We worship Gods because they are evident in everyday life. They are living energies. Their images have endured centuries, statues which were once worshipped in temples now reside in museums telling the story of the past. Their images have also survived deep in the memory of humanity - the collective unconscious.

Pagan religion is all around us, in sacred hills and standing stones, buried beneath churches and in mainstream (Christian) celebrations. Our Gods have survived through tales of old and fairy tales, all handed down through generations by word-of-mouth and song.

No one dictates what deities a Pagan has to worship, that is left to the individual. Some Pagans worship the Old Celtic Gods, some worship the Ancient Egyptian Gods, some are eclectic in their choosing. [Eclectic's take facets from many different areas].
